Emma Bertha Frache was born on 11 Dec, 1879 in Gaablau,
Schlesien, Prussia. William Andrew HANSEN was born 20 Sep 1879 in Soda Springs, Idaho. They were
married 22 May 1907 in Grand Forks, British Clumbia. They had five children.
Emma met William in Grand Forks. William was selling eggs for a living at the
time. The couple lived in Gilpin ( about 6 miles from Grand Forks), where the Hansen family ran a sawmill and orchards,
later raising thorougbred horses. Grace Hansen remembers her father singing to her as he rocked her to sleep on his
knee in Gilpin. They moved to Nelson, British Columbia where William worked at a dairy of about 10 acres and sold milk
and cream. This was around 1923. They also lived in Ymir, B.C. Wiliam also hauled ore with a horse team
in Paulson. Grace Hansen attended High School in Nelson. In 1937 they moved to Huntus, Washington to help Williams
sister-in-law. Around 1940 the Hansens moved to Deer Lodge where William worked on a ranch. In the later 1940's
the Hansen's moved to Milton Freewater, Oregon. William worked at Lambs Packing House until 1949.
Grace also remembers fondly of her mother, Emma reading story books to the family
for their night of entertainment. Emma was also handy at sewing all the children's clothes.
William died 6 Dec 1949 in Milton-Freewater, Oregon and Emma died 13 Jun 1951 in
Milton=-Freewater, Oregon.

married Walter Claus WOHLERS on 7 Feb 1931. She died on 6 Sep 1985 in Spokane, Washington.

2. Georgia Rose Hansen was born 10 Dec 1909 in Spokane, Washington and married Clifford
HANSEN in Ymir,British Columbia . She died 4 Dec 1983 in Cle Elum, Washington. She is buried at Laurel
Hill Cemetery.
3. Grace Emma Hansen was born 24 Dec 1911 in Spokane, Washington. She married
twice. #1. Heston O. SPIVEY. #2. Earl STOLZENBERG.
4. Adele Violet Hansen was born 19 May 1915 in Grand Forks, British Columbia and was
married to Mads OLSEN on 10 Mar 1938 in Nelson, British Columbia. She died on Apr 1962.
